John Sacia

District Attorney John Sacia is a native of Trempealeau county. He has served his home county as a prosecutor since 2015. John studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a bachelor's degree in legal studies and sociology. As an undergraduate, John was selected for membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. After working overseas, John returned to Wisconsin to attend the University of Wisconsin Law School. He resides in Galesville with his wife, and their German Shepherd dog, Kiska.

Micabil Diaz-Martinez

Attorney Micabil (Mike) Diaz-Martinez has been practicing law over 30 years. His legal career can succinctly be summarized as one of service; both at the governmental and the not-for profit arena.  His career includes significant litigation experience in both state and federal venues. Additionally he has practiced before tribal courts and military court-martials.

Attorney Diaz studied at Marquette University, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts in History and Political Science in 1986. He later attended Marquette University Law School earning his Juris Doctor (Thomas Moore Scholar) in 1989.  Attorney Diaz is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Attorney Diaz is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Iowa. In addition, Attorney Diaz has been also been admitted to multiple federal jurisdictions and a tribal jurisdiction.

Throughout his career, Attorney Diaz has served as a prosecutor, first for the United States Army and for the last two years as Tribal Prosecutor for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin.
