HuntingThe Wisconsin Department of Tourism describes Trempealeau County as a "perennial hot spot" for white-tail hunting and a number of Boone & Crockett record-holders have been harvested in the county.
A strong mix of natural and agricultural lands in Trempealeau County creates a habitat that supports a wide variety of other wildlife as well, including turkey, squirrels, rabbits, and fowl.
Sportsmen visiting the area can utilize private property with permission or public hunting areas.
