Five (5) Board Members and Three (3) Citizen Members. One Citizen Member shall represent the interests of the county parks, one Citizen Member shall represent the interests of tourism, and one Citizen Member shall represent the interests of economic development. The Board Members shall serve a 2-year term commencing in April on even numbered years. The Citizen Members shall serve staggered 3-year terms.Parks, Tourism, and Economic Development Committee Mission StatementThe mission of the Trempealeau County Parks, Tourism, and Economic Development Committees is to continually explore and implement strategies to further develop Trempealeau County as a leading place to live, work, and play. This will be accomplished by focusing on initiatives that both improve the economic lives and provide opportunities for the development of new skills of our citizens, promotes and further develops our tourism assets, and honors and protects our rural character and natural resources. We will also strive to further develop our Trempealeau County parks and lands in a way that provides youth with opportunities for both recreational enjoyment and environmental education.

The Board meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
- Direction and supervision of the Parks, Tourism, & Economic Development Department.
- Set policy for the Parks, Tourism, & Economic Development Department.
- Develop short-term and long-term goals for the Parks, Tourism, & Economic Development Department.
- Create and update mission statement and vision statements for the Parks, Tourism, & Economic Development Department.
