General Information
The Trempealeau County ADRC Unit is a unit of Trempealeau County Department of Human Services (DHS). The Trempealeau County DHS is governed by the Trempealeau County Human Services Board which is advised by the ADRC Advisory Council. The ADRC Advisory Council meets six times each year. The role of the ADRC Unit is to advocate for the rights, interests, intellectual, and physical well-being of all adults age 60 and older as well as all adults who are disabled.

The Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday every other month, (February, April, June, August, October, December)
Duties:
- To improve the quality of life for older adults, adults living with a physical or developmental disability and their families by helping them remain independent and engaged within their own community.
- To represent, empower and advocate on behalf of older adults, adults living with a physical or developmental disability and their families.
- To identify and promote Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Trempealeau County programs and services that will help older adults and adults living with a physical or developmental disability to maintain dignity, independence and active lifestyles.
- To guide Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Trempealeau County staff to serve, advocate and respond to the needs of Trempealeau County older adults, adults living with a physical or developmental disability and their families.
- To support Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Trempealeau County staff on program and service design, development and oversight.
- To advise Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Trempealeau County staff on the composition, implementation and administration of the Trempealeau County Three Year Aging Plan and ADRC Annual Plan.
