Behavioral Health / Mental Health Technician

The Trempealeau County Human Services Department is seeking a Behavioral Health / Mental Health Technician.
The purpose of this position is to serve as a para-professional to support Social Workers within the Behavioral
Health Unit by primarily administering services to individuals enrolled in the Community Support Program (CSP),
but also may serve those enrolled in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), Children’s Long Term Waiver
(CLTS), Birth-3, and/or individuals utilizing county funded treatment that is court ordered or voluntary. This
position helps ensure service plans and service delivery for each consumer is integrated, coordinated, and monitored
and is designed to support the consumer in a manner that helps the consumer achieve the highest level of
independent functioning. The work is performed under the direction of the Behavioral Health Services Supervisor.  


Legal Assistant Limited Term Employment (LTE)

The Trempealeau County District Attorney’s Office is seeking a Legal Assistant for a limited duration to perform legal secretarial, clerical and assistance to Trempealeau County prosecutors to include juvenile delinquencies, juveniles in need of protection and services (JIPS), truancies, county ordinances, traffic, felony and misdemeanors. The work is performed under the direction of the District Attorney.



Public Health Technician

The Trempealeau County Public Health Department is seeking a Public Health Technician.  The purpose of this position is to assist with daily operation of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and the Health Department. This includes office operations and caseload management of the WIC Program, obtaining anthropometric data and lab samples, office operations of the Health Department, and providing support to residents of Trempealeau County for all Health Department programs, including interpreting for Spanish speaking residents. The work is performed under the supervision of the Public Health Nutrition Coordinator and the Director/Health Officer.
