How We Are Funded

WTCO relies on funding from Trempealeau County, Tri-County Communications Cooperative and our many donors and sponsors.

Sponsors Needed!

WTCO has made some big improvements over the past year and need help from our community to keep these changes going.  We've invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure that has vastly improved our meeting coverage as well as our studio production quality.  We've re-branded to help the community understand who we are and what we do.  We have many different packages to allow business and community organizations to get recognition or promote events throughout our three-county viewing area as well as our online and Roku viewers.

What can my sponsor message say?
We can acknowledge the level of sponsorship, your business name, information about the business, the products you sell, but we cannot show pricings, comparisons or have a call to action.  An example that would work would be "Tri-County Communications Cooperative is a local provider of high-speed internet, television and phone service serving many areas throughout Trempealeau, Jackson and Eau Claire Counties.  For more information on TCC you can visit their website at tccpro.net"

I would like to go with a larger package, can I make payments?
Yes! We would be willing to take payments in annual, bi-annual or quarterly payments.  Our monthly plans are also available as pre-pay plans.

We are a non-profit, are there any deals for us? 
Yes!  Non-profits are allowed to promote their events on our community bulletin board free of charge. Email your events to wtco@co.trempealeau.wi.us and we will get them on channel 8 as well as between programming on  channels 18 and 618.

I own a business, can I promote my sale or event on WTCO?
Yes!  We can promote sales that do not indicate pricing.  For example, if you are a grocery store having a sale on hamburger, we can let people know that you are having a sale on hamburger but we can not tell them the price of the hamburger but could provide a phone number or website to call for information.

How many people watch WTCO?
We know that our channel is received by all cable subscribers of TCC.  We also have many viewers online and on our Roku app.

Is my underwriting tax-deductible?
Yes, according to the IRS, donations to governmental entities that benefit the public are tax-deductible.
